Royal Life Saving Society 2024 Honours Presentations took place last Saturday at Coombe Abbey, Coventry on Saturday 19th October.
The club was honoured to receive the Clive Holland Cup as Life Saving Club of the Year and 3 young members also received a Certificate of Merit. Unfortunately only one of the three, Tassia Wormald, was able to make the journey. The other two, Olivia Kidd and Jack Bristow, were busy with A Level School work.
Tassia was presented with her Certificate by Lord Storey, RLSS UK President, and the cup was presented by Mrs Bailey, widow of previous RLSS President, Stuart Bailey. Tassia, accompanied by Club Chairman & Lead Instructor David Slade, collected the cup on behalf of all the club members.
All the Honours will be represented at the Club Annual Presentation Evening on 15th January.
