Our 2023 summer Drowning Prevention activities kicked off yesterday with a stall at East Preston Charity Market. Weather was just right and we had lots of interest especially when ‘Norman The Newfie’ and Leila, Belinda’s real live ‘Newfie’, toured the stalls together. Lots of ‘high fives’ from the toddlers and between stints Leila got lots of attention whilst the ‘Norman’s’ grabbed a breather.
Great turn out of club members either taking a turn in the mascot or helping on the stall. Well done the Wave Team!
